'D.U.I.' (dark comedy/drama)

Synopsis: When a well known Hollywood director is repeatedly arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, a judge sentences him to direct an educational D.U.I. film. Very reluctant at first, he refuses to do so but then his long time assistant convinces him of the importance of such a project, both for his own well being and the greater purpose.

Casting suggestion: Robert de Niro, Jack Nicholson, Sean Penn

I can't for the life of me figure out why this man's life story hasn't been turned into a fimscript yet. It's got the ingredients of a box office hit. Read 'em and weep (wiki).

Shortplot: A finnish sniper, within a hundred days, single handedly kills between 500-800 soviet soldiers during WWII and becomes known as "White Death".

"The Sketch Artist" (thriller)

Ok, here's another one to give this blog some 'body' to start off with. Someone once told me a good film can be told within one sentence. Here goes:

Shortplot: A police sketch artist discovers he has the ability to draw criminals before they actually commit a crime so now he and his colleagues are in the business of tracing down people not knowing what crimes they are about to commit.

"Poker Face" (comedy)

Synopsis: A guy has his face turned into "the ultimate pokerface" by a plastic surgeon, in order to become 'National Poker Champion' but then he finds that life outside the poker game can be somewhat 'uneasy' with an expressionless face.

"It's a Girl Thing" (comedy)

Tagline: Two men. One problem.

Shortplot: Two men unknowingly have an extensive lesbian relationship while posing as women through an online dating agency.

Synopsis: Two guys from completely different backgrounds decide to have a little fun and pose as lesbian women on the internet. As time progresses they get into a relationship with eachother, not knowing both of them are actually men. In the meantime they struggle with actual problems in their real life which makes for some funny situations. Their online "facade" consumes more and more of their time and they are soon headed for the "inevitable". An actual confrontation in real life.
